Pulaski County Gifted 8th Grade Students Participate in CREATE: Music STEM Camp

An appreciation toward science and technology was gained from a group of gifted and talented eighth graders from across Pulaski County School District. CREATE: Music STEM Camp with PEERS Foundation based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, traveled to both Northern and Southern Middle Schools to present their high-end examples of emerging technologies and expose our students to the relationship between music and technology.   read more about Pulaski County Gifted 8th Grade Students Participate in CREATE: Music STEM Camp

Superintendent Steve Butcher Honored for Outstanding Achievement

The Kentucky Educational Development Corporation (KEDC) honors Mr. Steve Butcher, Superintendent of Pulaski County Schools as 2018 KEDC Superintendent of the Year. To say that Mr. Steve Butcher has made a positive impact on Pulaski County Schools would be an understatement. Under the leadership of Mr. Butcher, the Pulaski County School System has achieved the designation of Distinguished District six years running and boasts a 100% college/career rate and a 97.8% graduation rate validating that educational programs are focused on results.   read more about Superintendent Steve Butcher Honored for Outstanding Achievement

Lexington KY, June 14th – July 15th, 2017 Meredith Oakes of Pulaski County High School attended a highly competitive and very strenuous four and half week academic residential program at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
