Southwestern High School Students at the FBLA State Leadership Conference
SWHS FBLA State Leadership Conference

Seventeen students from Southwestern High School attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Louisville, KY from April 17-19, 2017. The chapter faired very well, leaving with 7 students eligible to attend and compete at FBLA National Leadership Conference in June. The chapter also won the Commonwealth Award of Merit.

Pulaski County High School FBLA participants
Pulaski FBLA Excels at State Conference

On the dates of April 17th-19th members of Pulaski County's chapter of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) traveled to Louisville to compete in the state FBLA conference. The conference ended up being a huge success as 25 students received rewards as Pulaski County placed in 15 events (by unofficial count which was the 2nd most awards received at the conference).

I hope each of you are ready to start out with a great beginning to 2017.  We have a lot of opportunities to do great things during the spring semester, and enhance our students' dreams and goals.  In Pulaski County we have lofty goals, and I am very proud of the entire staff that makes these possibilities a reality!
